About this course

The Advanced Learning Alliance is delighted to announce that for the fifth successive year, we will be running our very successful Middle Leader’s Programme for aspiring Middle Leaders from February – April 2019.

This course will be delivered by Deputies, Assistant Headteachers and SLEs of our Alliance schools and comprises of:

  • Four sessions covering key qualities and skills an outstanding and successful middle leader needs to demonstrate. Please see below for dates, session title and location. This includes two optional pastoral sessions.

  • For up to two days, at different schools, the opportunity to shadow an experienced Head of Department in a partner school for the day. This is an excellent opportunity for leadership development and networking with an experienced colleague in your specialist field.

All sessions are held as twilights starting at 4.30pm and finishing no later than 6.30pm at various schools within the Alliance.

If you would like to book this course or would like further information please contact Linda Linwood on linwoodl@damealiceowens.herts.sch.uk.

The course costs £150 + VAT for all schools.
