On occasions, when cover is light, such as at the beginning of terms, Cover Supervisors may also be required to carry out the following tasks:

  • Help with the supervision of the Isolation room

o   To coach or help with the school teams in all of the major sports – rugby, hockey and cricket.

o   A commitment to extra-curricular, mid-week and Saturday fixtures.

The Candidate

This post is suitable for an individual who is keen to gain classroom experience whilst also utilising their existing high-level coaching skills in two or more of our major sports (Rugby, Hockey and Cricket). You may well be considering teaching as a career but not, as yet, be certain whether this is your chosen career path.

 Ideally we are looking for:

  • An organised, thorough and committed individual with an ability to command respect from the students.
  • A graduate who has a passion for sport and the delivery of it to young people.
  • A talented sportsperson who has played rugby, hockey or cricket to a high level

  • Above all, someone who possesses great energy, enthusiasm and dedication, and who is willing to throw themselves wholeheartedly into the life of this busy school.
